Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of TripFinder - Local Guide and related services operated by Mert Altekin ("TripFinder", "we", "us", or "our"). By using TripFinder, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
TripFinder helps users discover nearby places and generate travel or local itineraries based on selected locations and preferences. Plans, place details, routes, opening hours, prices, weather, and other information may be generated or supplied by third parties and can be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.
You are responsible for independently checking important information before traveling, including safety, accessibility, reservations, visas, local laws, operating hours, prices, weather, and transportation. TripFinder is not a travel agency, emergency service, or professional safety, legal, medical, or financial adviser.
2. Accounts
You may sign in using Apple or Google. You are responsible for maintaining control of your sign-in account and device. You must provide accurate information and may not create or use accounts to evade limits, obtain repeated promotions, interfere with the service, or engage in fraud.
3. Credits and one-time purchases
Credits are a limited, revocable license to request eligible TripFinder features. They are not money, have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and cannot be redeemed outside TripFinder. The app displays the number of credits required before a plan request. Failed requests that are not delivered should not permanently consume reserved credits.
One-time purchases and refunds are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to the store's payment and refund rules and applicable consumer law.
4. Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation
Subscription price, duration, billing period, and included access are shown before purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled through your Apple or Google subscription settings before renewal. Your store account is charged by Apple or Google. Deleting TripFinder does not cancel a subscription.
Unlimited plan fair-use limit: An active subscription marketed as offering "unlimited plans" means eligible plan generations do not deduct credits. To protect availability and prevent automated or abusive use, unlimited subscriptions are subject to a fair-use rate limit of 20 plan-generation requests in any rolling 24-hour period. Requests beyond this limit may be temporarily blocked until capacity becomes available again. Additional temporary throttling may apply to automated, fraudulent, security-sensitive, or service-disrupting activity.
We will not materially reduce paid subscription access during a current billing period without notice except where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or service stability. Subscription price changes are handled through the applicable store and its required notice and consent process.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use bots, scripts, account farms, or automated tools to generate plans or obtain promotions.
- Bypass credit, subscription, rate, geographic, security, or technical restrictions.
- Probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with TripFinder or its providers except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Use TripFinder for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
- Resell, transfer, or commercially exploit plans, credits, subscriptions, or access without written permission.
6. Content and intellectual property
TripFinder, its software, branding, interface, and original content are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose. Third-party map data, photos, place details, and other materials remain subject to their respective owners' terms.
7. Availability and changes
We may maintain, update, suspend, or discontinue features. Plan generation may be delayed or unavailable because of connectivity, provider outages, capacity, safety controls, rate limits, or maintenance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every requested place or plan can be generated.
8. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security risks, legal requirements, payment reversals, or material violations of these Terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to contact support.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, TripFinder is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by reliance on third-party or generated travel information.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
10. Apple and Google terms
Your download, payment, and use of TripFinder are also subject to the applicable store terms. For iOS, unless a custom end-user license agreement is shown in App Store Connect, Apple's Standard EULA applies to the app license. These Terms govern the TripFinder service and do not replace mandatory store terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkiye, without limiting mandatory consumer protections or dispute rights that apply in your country of residence.
12. Changes and contact
